Outdoor Mushroom Bed Starter Kit

Start your outdoor mushroom bed at home with our blue oyster grain spawn and sterilized mushroom substrate. 

Prepare your mushroom bed at home in a shaded area by layering sterilized hardwood substrate and blue oyster grain spawn until your bed is 80% full. Place cardboard then straw on top, then water your new mushroom bed with a hose until it is well hydrated. 

Over the next 6 months, continue to water your mushroom bed as you would your other garden. The mycleium network will grow and expand within your mushroom bed. You should start to see mushrooms growing the next Spring or Fall after you have planted.
