This quick, simple and delicious recipe works for all the mushrooms that we sell and leaves room for you to get creative with the dish. Many mushroom lovers use this recipe constantly because of how simple and delicious it is. If you are using Lions Mane, you can use it as a lobster substitute because when the Lions Mane is cooked with butter and garlic it resembles the taste and texture of lobster and crab.

INGREDIENTS
- 340 grams Mushrooms Pink, Yellow or Blue oysters, Lions Mane or Chestnut
- 8 cloves Garlic
- 4 tbsp Butter sub for olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS

Separate the mushrooms into individual pieces ( if using oysters take individual petals, Lions Mane you can just rip into small shreds, and Chestnut you can just pop off the individual mushrooms).

Cook mushrooms for about five minutes (until water starts to boil out) over medium heat, then remove them from pan before heating oil/butter.

While mushrooms cook, chop the garlic into small pieces.

Heat up butter/oil over medium heat.

Once melted, add the garlic into the butter/oil and stir. let garlic become fragrant, then add your mushrooms back into pan.

Let the mushrooms sauté for about 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Add your salt and pepper. This will extract any extra water they are holding while adding more flavour.

Once golden brown and crispy, remove from heat and serve.

NOTES
This is a super simple recipe and it gives you tons of room to experiment. One thing to keep note of is if your heat is too high and you see your garlic starting to brown quickly you should reduce the heat to avoid burning it.
