Pink Oyster Peppercorn Sauce with Steak and Asparagus

This is a perfect date night meal that is quick, delicious and easy to cook. You will surely impress anyone with this flavorful dish.

  • 100 grams Pink Oyster Mushrooms can use any other mushrooms as well
  • 1 bunch Asparagus
  • 2 Steaks
  • 1 Onion
  • 230 ml 2% cream
  • 3 pinches Salt
  • 3 tbsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  1. Prep: dice your onion, cut off woody ends of asparagus and cut mushrooms into small chunks. Also take this time to season your steak with 1/2 - 1 tbsp of pepper.
  2. Heat up 1 tbsp of oil in a pot on medium heat, once hot add in onion and mushrooms. Let cook until onions are translucent. Add in the cream and 2 tbsp of pepper, stir and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a pan heat up 1 tbsp of oil and cook your asparagus until it is chard while sauce is simmering.
  4. In a seperate pan (or BBQ) cook your steak to your preference, once done let it cool for a few minutes while you plate the other ingredients.
  5. Spread the sauce out onto a plate. Place the asparagus on top of the sauce and then slice your steak and place it ontop of the asparagus. Season with some salt and pepper then serve.
  6. Enjoy!
