These blackened mushrooms have a smokey flavour and meaty texture that pairs well with a salad. For best results, roast them over hot coals of a fire.
BBQ or Fire
- 4 cups Gourmet Mushrooms
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
Begin by preparing your mushrooms by tearing off each mushroom from the head. We recommend folding the cap in half and poking two skewers through the top and bottom of each individual mushroom. 5-10 mushrooms per skewer.
Next, pour the olive oil overtop of the skewers and add salt and pepper to taste
Place two cement blocks, rocks or pieces of wood on either side of coals
Place the mushroom skewers in the middle of the cement blocks for 7-8 minutes on each side.
Enjoy your fire roasted oyster mushrooms!
